Peggy Jane Smith, 60, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018. Peggy was born on August 30, 1957 to Gerald and Bettey Lefort.

Peggy was blessed with 2 children in her life. She enjoyed walks in nature, music, books, writing, her pets, and random adventurous. Peggy was a sassy, intelligent, artsy, kind, loving, passionate, strong-willed woman who loved the lord. She will be deeply missed.

Peggy is survived by: her children, Heather Lemmer and Calvin Smith Sr.; grandchildren, Christopher, Corey, Alyssa, Alexis, Brayden, Madison and Calvin Jr.; brother, Jerry Lefort; and sisters, Susan (Allen) Peterson and Sharon (Jeff) Honea.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Fremont Seventh Day Adventist Church 5335 Garden Ave., Fremont MI.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Peggy's family.
