Phyllis Ann (Gorenflo) Peters, 74, of Hart, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, September 28, 2021. She was born on February 6, 1947, in Hart, the daughter of Jesse and Mary (Clark) Gorenflo.

She loved gardening, riding ATVs, hanging out with friends, and being in nature.

Phyllis is survived by: children, Karen Lynn (Ward) Shinedecker and her husband, Cary, Karla Ann (Ward) Flanery and her husband, Rodney, and Dawn LeAnn (Vandevoorde) Carrier and her husband, Bryan; grandchildren,  Andrew (Megan) Shinedecker, David (Shelby) Shinedecker, Alexander Flanery, Darren (Jen) Flanery, and Zachary Vandevoorde; great-grandchildren, Theo and Grayson Flanery; sister, Evelyn (Gorenflo) Shull; brother, Richard (Betty)Gorenflo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Dale Robert Peters; brother, Robert Gorenflo; and brother-in-law, Jim shull.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Mears Cemetery, 6189 West Fox Road, Mears, MI 49436.

Donations to Harbor Hospice in honor of Phyllis Peters preferred in lieu of cards or flowers.
