Mrs. Ramona M. Escamilla, age 86, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007. She was born in San Antonio, TX on March 3, 1921 to Agustin and Cresencia (Rogue) Martinez. Mrs. Escamilla was a homemaker. She is survived by her children; sons, Ramon (Elida) Escamilla of Crystal Twp, Jose Escamilla of Crystal Twp, Jesus (Maria) Escamilla of Crystal Twp, Gilberto (Maria) Escamilla of San Antonio, TX, Benito (Rosemary) Escamilla of San Antonio, TX, and Alfredo (Maria) Escamilla of Upper Silver Lake, MI; daughters, Juanita Ramirez of San Antonio, TX, Maria Luisa (Raul) Lopez of Crystal Twp, Guadalupe (Pedro) Rocha of San Antonio, TX and Rosita Bustos of San Antonio, TX; 53 grandchildren; 142 great grandchildren; 32 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio L. Escamilla in 1985, sons, Antonio Escamilla Jr., Santiago Escamilla, daughter, Elida Escamilla, grandsons, Alejandro Escamilla, Gilberto Escamilla Jr. and Antonio Escamilla III. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Anton Tran presiding. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Saturday from 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-5 PM at the Tate-King Funeral Home.
