Obituary

Mr. Raymond Lee Mull, age 88, of Hart, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015. He was born January 2, 1927, in Comstock Park to John Henry and Helen (Anderson) Mull. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WW II. Raymond attended Otterbein College in Ohio graduating with a BA degree. He married Jacqueline McIssac on June 7, 1952 in Grand Rapids, and they were married fifty-nine years before her passing on October 4, 2011. Raymond was self-employed and operated Mull Hardware in Hart and was also a Salesman for Independent Distributors. He was a member of the Hart Lions Club, VFW Hart Post #1329, Oceana Golf Club, Oceana Eagles - Aerie 3167, Melody Mates Square Dancing Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. Raymond was raised by his step-father Anton Petersen. Ray also enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and many unorganized social events. Raymond is survived by two daughters, Debra (Brian) Demmel of Omaha, NE, and Kim (Fred) Patrick of Hart; four sons, Bruce (Bobbi) Mull of Hart, Scott (Beth) Mull of Mohawk, MI, Mark Mull of Hart, and Michael (Lisa) Mull of Hart; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane (Don) Huizenga of Phoenix, AZ and Jean Scribner of Comstock Park; two brothers, Jim (Joanie) Mull of Rockford, MI and Hank Mull of Comstock Park. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacqueline; three brothers, Floyd, Delos, and Robert Mull; and Rev. Msgr. William E. Powers. A Celebration of Life for Mr. Mull will be Thursday, September 3, 2015, at 11:00 am at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hart with Brian and Cory Demmel officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Hart. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Crystal Valley Care Fund, P.O.
