Raymond Bruce Smith, age 80, of Whitehall, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Ray was born October 8, 1941, in Muskegon, Michigan, the son of Clarence & Ruth (Omness) Smith.

Ray is survived by: his children, daughter, Tammy (Michael) Strzyzykowski, son, Jeffrey Smith, and son, Matthew Smith; grandchildren, David (Tarra) Smith, Amber (Kyle) Cheeseman, and Adam Strzyzykowski (Manda); great-grandchildren, Damen Stark, Adain Smith, Colten Smith, and Meadow Cheeseman; mother-in-law, Pat (Panzl) DeWind; sisters-in-law, Kerry DeWind and Arlene (Anderson) Smith; and first wife, Janeen (Morat - Smith) Dillon.

Ray was preceded in death by: his wife, Dona (DeWind) Smith; his son, Christopher Smith; and his brother, Donald Smith.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
