Reba S. Owen, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. She is survived by her son, Mike (Julie) Owen, and her sister, Becky Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Owen, and her other sister, Peggy Burns. Reba was a volunteer at Hackley Hospital for many years and was a member of First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. Her passion during her life was being a caregiver to so many people. Having a big heart, she enjoyed helping others, always placing their needs first. Reba was a beautiful person inside and out and was the life of the party and lived life to the fullest. She loved being around people and never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and will be deeply missed by family, extended family, and by all who had the pleasure to know her. She was a second mother to many. May she be pain free and at peace forever. The family would like to thank so many people for helping Mom in her last years. You are much appreciated as you extended her life. Reba's wish was to be cremated. A private Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
