Mr. Richard "Dick" L. Bursley, Sr., age 78, of Hart, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was born January 4, 1935, in Hart, Michigan, to John and Elizabeth (North) Bursley. After serving in the United States Army from 1953-1955, he married Phyllis VanTassel on October 30, 1955, Hart. He was employed at Harbison and Walker until his retirement and was a member of Hart VFW Post 1329 and the American Legion.

Richard is survived by one daughter, Cheryl (Mike) VanAgtmeal; two sons, Richard L. Bursley, Jr. and Michael J. Bursley; three grandchildren, Dustin L. Bursley, Ryan VanAgtmael, and Amy Babbin; five great-grandchildren, Emma, Hannah, Elon, Jenna, and Alaina; and one sister, Arlene Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Bursley; his wife, Phyllis Bursley; his eight brothers, Earl, George,Francis, Gene, Bob, John, Don, and Clyde Bursley; and two sisters, Dorothy Brown, and LeNore Pollice.

The Memorial Service for Mr. Bursley will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart with Pastor Mark Looman officiating. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
