Richard "Rick" Frank Wierman,80 of Traverse City, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Cherry Hill Haven, with his family by his side.

Rick was born August 15, 1944 to Frank Gaylord and Marye (Sluyter) Wierman at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.

He graduated from Cadillac High School and went to DeVry Tech in Chicago.

On December 21, 1973 he married Karin Marie Johns.  Rick is survived by his wife, their children: Richard Frank (Lauren), Daniel Robert (Heather) Holly Marie Fessler, Robert Sean and Mark Allen.  He was also the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, with one on the way.  He of course was the biggest kid of them all!!!

Rick was a successful business owner for many years but he was most passionate about coaching kids in sports, racing and showing his Corvette.  He also enjoyed traveling as much as he could.  Hiking in Alaska and Hawaii were his favorites.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Larry Jay and Thomas Allen, his step-mother Phyllis and grandson Oliver.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
