Richard Val Jensen (Dick), age 82, of Muskegon, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Richard was born on February 2, 1936 to Valdemar and Rosalie Jensen.

Dick was blessed with 5 children in his life. Dick served his county in the United States Air Force. He worked as a quality Control Technician for many years until his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed farming and fishing. Dick loved cook outs and family functions. He will be deeply missed.

Richard is survived by his children, Val (Sherry Schroeder-Jensen) Jensen, Victoria (Gene) Magruder, Chris (Laura) Jensen, Jon (Diane) Jensen and Tony (Yvonne) Jensen; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Linda) Jensen and Fred (Shirley) Jensen; sisters, Karen Silva and Lois (Ferrel) Cordle, brother in law Steve Mueller; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ted and Jerry Jensen; and sister, Marva Mueller (Steve).

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service-White Lake Chapel, in Whitehall with Pastor Scott VanArendonk officiating. The family will receive guests 1 hour prior to the start of the service.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or Day Spring Assisted Living.
