Robert "Bob" Anderson, 85, of Kewadin, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021.  He was born May 2, 1936, in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Admiral and Ruby (Scott) Anderson.  He married the love of his life, Cleo (Wing) and the couple shared 51 years together.

Bob served in the US Army active duty from March 1, 1955, until December 30, 1956 in Germany.  He was in the grocery business for most of his life, working at the Village Market in Elk Rapids, Michigan for the last 43 years.

His favorite pastimes were golfing, bowling, and playing pool.  Bob and Cleo also loved to go dancing.  He had a very strong work ethic, and he took a lot of pride in making sure the job got done, something he passed along to his children and grandchildren.  He was also quite the jokester, and he loved making people laugh with his quirky sense of humor.  He will be missed immensely.

Besides his wife, he is survived by:  his sons, Marc (Floyann) Anderson Sr. of Kewadin, Jeff Anderson of Coldwater, Michael Williams of Ruskin, Florida, Todd (Lisa) Williams of Webster, Florida; daughters, Dawn (Jerry) Dodgson of Leonidas, MI, and Robin Anderson of South Boardman.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Marc Anderson Jr, Dan (Tanya) Anderson, Jesse (Jennifer) Anderson, Lynnzie Miller, Kaylee and Kassy Larr, Kendra Williams, Heather Spicer, and Laurie Paul, Shannon Burdick, Shane Burdick, Kelly Burdick, and many great-grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Ramon and Sue Morgan.

The family is planning a celebration of life for Bob late April or early May of 2022.
