Robert "Bob" Earl Darke, 46, of Rothbury, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at home.  He was born May 11, 1975, in Shelby, the son of William and Nancy (Jefferies) Darke Sr.

Bob served in the US NAVY and was honorably discharged in 2001. Bob worked doing lawn care and snow removal in the Rothbury/Montague area for several years.  In his spare time, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR and drag races.  Most of all, Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his step-son and his nieces and nephews.

Bob is survived by: his fiance', Jennifer Rolf; his step-son, Aaron Rolf; his brothers, LaVern Darke, Dennis Darke, William Darke, and Stephen Darke; his mother, Susan Darke; and his nieces and nephews, Kelsi, Gwenn, Grace, Annabelle, Henry, Jack, Evelyn , William III, Mason, Bailey and Max.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, William Darke Sr., and his mother, Nancy Darke.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, with Pastor Craig Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Montague.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
