Mr. Robert James Eisenlohr, age 73, of Houston, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was born May 1, 1941, in Muskegon, Michigan to Laurel and Doris Eisenlohr. Bob was raised in Hart and graduated from Mason High School in Mason, Michigan with the Class of 1958. He proudly served his country for twenty-two years with the United States Marine Corps, including two thirteen-month tours of Vietnam. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, and then worked as a commercial pilot with Muse Air, TranStar, and Continental Airlines. He and his wife lived their retirement years in Houston, Texas.
Robert is survived by his wife, Teruko Mori Eisenlohr of Houston, Texas; their two children, Naomi (Robbi) Franklin of Nashville, Tennessee, and James (Nubia) Eisenlohr of Austin, Texas; two granddaughters, Mori Franklin and Sienna Eisenlohr; two sisters, Kathleen Joy Miller of Muskegon, Michigan, and Charlene Joyce Eisenlohr and her husband, Neil Mueller, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and a brother, Ronald Jay (Pat) Eisenlohr of Mason, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob was interred in Hart Cemetery, where a private graveside service was held. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
