Mr. Robert "Bob" Graham, of Pentwater, passed away on May 30, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan, to Leslie and Bernice Graham on March 14, 1927. He grew up in Muskegon, where he developed a lifelong fascination with flying, piloting a Piper Cub when he was sixteen and flying for the last time at age eighty. Bob attended Muskegon High School before joining the Navy in 1945. Discharged in 1946, he worked and went to college in Muskegon. In 1949, he met the love of his life, Betty Doenges, and they were married in 1950. In 1956 they moved to Ann Arbor where he attended University of Michigan, and eventually worked for McNamee, Porter and Seeley, an engineering firm. He retired in 1992, and he and Betty moved to Pentwater, MI, in 1997, where they have lived ever since. Bob enjoyed flying, bicycling, puns and mostly spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband, with a great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Betty Graham; his sons Paul Graham of Everett, WA (Laura), Brian Graham of Austin, TX (Jennifer), and daughter Sarah Brieloff of Ann Arbor, MI (George), and grandchildren Allison Frazier (Joshua), Kevin Graham, Katelin and Stephen Brieloff, and Rachel, Nicholas and Matthew Graham. Bob will be dearly missed by all. The Memorial Service for Mr. Graham will be held at Centenary United Methodist Church in Pentwater at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, with Pastor Melanie Young officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 82 S. Hancock St., Pentwater, MI 49449 or the Alzheimer's Association, 1740 Village Dr., Suite 336, Muskegon, MI 49442.
