Robert Lynn LaPree, 69, of Montague, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, due to kidney failure.

Robert was born on March 1, 1956, in Hart. He graduated from Stevenson High School in Washington state in 1974. Where he enjoyed racing motocross with his brothers. Robert had two daughters and lived in Montague most of his adult life. He worked as a machinist at CMI & White Lake Machine. His hobbies included Nascar, woodworking, and camping. Robert loved spending time with his family and was a caring, loving, and quiet man. He will be greatly missed.

Robert is survived by: his children, Christy (Chris) Ramthun and Susan (Hector) Green; grandchildren, Courtney (Chase) Rasmussen, Kaylee Ramthun, Travis Ramthun, Hector Green III, and Damian Green; his siblings, Larry (Mary) LaPree, Greg (Diane) LaPree, Richard LaPree Jr., and Barbara Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His parents Richard and Marge LaPree and sister Patricia Cranmer preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life for Robert is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025,  from 2:00 PM –5:00 PM, at Masonic Lodge, 5425 Dowling St., Montague MI 49437.
