Robert "Bob" Lee Peters, 86, of Fountain, died Saturday, April 12, 2025, at home.  He was born July 8, 1938, in Sherman Township, the son of Herbert and Ernestine (Listander) Peters.

Bob worked for several years on the carferries and later for PCA in Manistee.  He was also a lifelong farmer, raising hogs and doing pig roasts, growing gladiolas, and tending to his beehives.  He was a member of Victory Trinity Lutheran Church and the Masonic Lodge F&AM.

Bob is survived by: his companion of many years, B. Marie Chellis; his children, Joyce Strejcek, Karen Petersen, Robert Peters, John Peters, Jeff Peters and Randy Chellis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Marjorie, Belva, Mildred and Marilyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
