Obituary
Robert William Rollins passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice Jane Rollins and his beloved dog Ambrose. He is survived by his sister Mary Ann Boom and brother-in-law Terry Boom; his niece Danya VanderLugt (Joshua and their children Jack Rollins and Eliana Michelle) and his nephew Michael Boom.
As a young man Bob was a lighting and sound technician with the Common People, a well-known Michigan rock band. He loved theater, art, music, and enjoyed writing songs
and stories. Bob graduated from South High School in 1965 and earned a B.A. in English from Western Michigan University.
There will be a memorial gathering for Bob's friends and family at the Hart Congregational Church, lower level, on Wednesday, June 4th, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Bob's love for animals, memorial contributions can be made to L.A.S.S.I. (Local Animal Shelter Support Inc.) P.O. Box 160, Pentwater, MI 49449.
