Celebration of life for Roberta Edmonds (Bobbie Shamel) July 7, 1931 – August 18, 2026 

Please join us in celebrating the life of Bobbie. Halloween was one of Bobbie’s favorite holidays so feel free to dress up in your favorite costume! She would have loved that! We are also asking everyone to share pictures of family members (Children, Grand Children, Great Grand Children and Great-Great Grandchildren) whether or not mom is in the photo. Whether you are able to attend or not, we would enjoy seeing these pictures of her family members at this service. Please do not send original pictures!! Please take digital pictures of the originals and send them via Facebook Messenger to Renee Susanne or Tracy Hazel Sineway. You can also place them here in this event. Please be prepared to share your favorite story. Even if you are unable to attend, please share a memory with us here on this event. We will plan to read these at her celebration of life. We look forward to seeing everyone on this very special day!

Bobbie is survived by her children: Renee Shamel, Raymond Shamel, Rodney Shamel, Robert Shamel & Ralph Shamel; 12 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren; 10 Great Great Grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2 pm at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, 511 S. Garfield Ave., Traverse City, Michigan 49686
