Roberta "Becky" Mae Smith, 66, of Mesick passed away on May 28,2023 at Munson Medical Center.

Becky was born Nov. 5, 1956, in Pontiac, MI the daughter of William and Donna (Petsch) Fredrick.

She was a loving wife, mother of two and beloved grandma and great grandma.  Becky, who was a warrior, was also a breast cancer survivor.

Becky loved spending time with her family, listening to music, playing games and being outside. She also had exceptional luck with scratch off lottery tickets.

Becky is survived by her husband Tim Smith, son Jeff "JJ" (Erica) Frederick; mother Donna Cheylava; sister Bernice Frederick, niece Nicole Frederick, grandkids Carson, Aaliyah, Mackenzie, Riley , Kierstyn and Maggie, great grandchildren Grayson, Rileigh and Kacey.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle "Mickie" Hillier.

The family will hold a memorial at a later date at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens on Veterans Drive in Traverse City.
