Roberta Miel, age 82, of Whitehall, previously of Hesperia, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022.  She retired from Gerber Products Company as an IT Help Desk Tech.

She loved to travel the country. She enjoyed reading, knitting, playing bingo with friends, and working in her yard.  Most of all, she was immensely proud of her family and friends and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Roberta is survived by: her husband, Henry (Hank) Miel Jr.; children, Pam (Steve) Booher, John (Danielle) Clark, Dianna (Jeff) VanTol, and Henry Miel III; siblings, Fred Nichols, Donna (Dan) Shafer, Joan (Larry) Boyd, and Marjorie Rewalt; grandchildren, Stacey Booher, Ashlee (Kevin) Vanderwater, Kyle Clark, Justin (Emily) VanTol, Cody Clark, Rick (Allison) Taylor, Henry Douglas Miel, and Ashley Miel; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Roberta was preceded in death by: her mother, Majorie Huffman; father, Robert Nichols; brothers, Bill Nichols and Hershel Brown; sister, Marilyn Killebrew; and grandson, Jason VanTol.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 11 AM, at Fruitland Baptist Church, 4611 Orshal Road, Whitehall MI 49461.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
