Robin Victoria Martell (Gasco) was born on May 6, 1959. She started her journey on July 22, 2022. Robin was 63 years old when she passed.

Robin was born in Petoskey, Michigan. She was a member of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians. Robin was a very proud Anishinaabekwe (Odawa woman). She would spend her summers traveling through Michigan with her family to attend many powwows. Her and her partner, Bill, had the honor of being head male and female dancers at many of these powwows.

Her life was filled with sports; spending many hours watching the Lions or Tigers with her dad and siblings growing up. She carried that tradition on into adulthood. Not only was she a watcher but Robin was a player. She played many sports even going on to be a semi-professional bowler.

Sports and cooking. Robin was a fantastic cook. She was very passionate about food. She would cook fantastic meals and her family gathered from all corners of life to come eat.

Robin is survived by: her life partner William (Bill) Martell; her two children, Joshua and Julia Martell; her brother, Kevin Gasco; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Robin was preceded in death by: her father, Clarence Gasco; her mother, Elizabeth (Kishigo) Gasco; her brothers, Jim and Wayne Gasco; and by her sister, Karen (Gasco) Snake.
