Mr. Roger Lee Fulton, age 86 of Ludington, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 18, 2017, at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born on March 1st, 1931 in Muskegon, MI, son of Philip and Katherine (Sparks) Fulton. Roger graduated from Jackson High School in 1950 and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951. Roger married the love of his life, Doris Marie Kempf, at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Jackson, Michigan, on September 6, 1952. During his time in the Air Force Roger graduated from the Emery Riddle School of Aviation as an F-51 Engine Specialist, and served in Korea as Crew Chief of RT 80. He was transferred to Spokane, WA, and worked on the F-86D planes in the engine shop. Upon discharge from the Air Force in 1955, Roger moved back to Jackson and worked at the local Redimix selling aggregates in the Flint area. From there he took a position selling cement for the General Portland Cement Company in seven of the South Eastern counties of Michigan. After leaving this position, Roger went back to selling aggregates and became manager of the Abramson-Nerheim Cement Company for the Wallace Stone Company. He then bought a trucking company, named it R & D (Roger & Doris) Transportation, and operated it for 25 years.  At the end of his career, Roger went to work as Property Manager for Thompson-McCully Asphalt Company before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed RV traveling with Doris, fishing, building and flying model airplanes, and golf. Roger was a master builder of remote controlled airplanes. He was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Doris; children, Richard and Joyce Fulton, Douglas and Maryanne Fulton, Daniel and Letha Fulton, Linda Hackert and Karen Cummins; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and sister Gwendolyn Kreider.
