Mr. Ron Alan Schmock, age 59, of Ludington, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born November 17, 1956, in Ludington to Robert and Leatrice Sschmock.  He was employed with the State Of Michigan Department Of Corrections before his retirement in 2006.  Ron loved riding his Harley Davidson.  He also cherished spending time outdoors deer hunting and fishing.

Ron is survived by one daughter: Anika Schmock of Ludington and two sons: Aaron (Huilun Ann) and Stephen Schmock of Ludington, two sisters: Sherry (Bill) Koob and Diane Schmock of Ludington, and two brothers: Tim (Cyd) and Tom (Becky) Schmock of Ludington.   He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lydia Schmock in 2009, and his brother, Doug Schmock.
