Obituary

Rev. Dr. Ronald Lloyd Keller, our beloved husband, dad, and grandfather, passed into the presence of our Lord on Sunday morning, July 29, 2018, due to amyloid heart disease.

Ron is survived by his wife Judy Keller, children Jeff (Suzie) Keller & Beth (Steve) Legate and grandchildren Jacob & Jonathan Keller and Tucker & Charlie Legate.

Ron loved cycling, sailing, coaching (baseball and tennis), and watching sports (Philly sports & University of MI football especially). He was lifelong student (and teacher), a car aficionado and a teller of corny jokes…especially to his grandsons.  He was a man of great faith in God and made an impact on so many, from the missionaries he supported, to those he counseled, to the simple sharing of his faith.

During his time in Upland, he served for over 20 years at Taylor University and then helped to coordinate the first ever Wandering Wheels "Circle America" bike trip.  He ministered with Grace Adventures through his time on the Board of Directors and by leading worship on Sunday mornings for many years.  Ron also impacted lives through his work at Eastern University (St. David's, PA), New Life Youth & Family Services (Harleysville, PA), and Biblical Seminary (Hatfield, PA).

A Detroit native, Ron met the love of his life at his beloved University of MI. He & Judy were married 57 years.  His education continued as he later worked to receive both his Masters in Guidance & Counseling and a Ph.D. in Higher Education.

A memorial service will be held at Ron & Judy's home church, Faith Church of Worcester, PA, in the fall.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Grace Adventures (Mears, MI) or Lightrider ( www.lightrider.org Upland, IN). Notes of condolences can be sent to the family at 1518 North Shore Drive, Mears, MI  49436
