Ronald "Ron" Bialy, 60, of Traverse City, Michigan, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021., at home after a short battle with cancer.  He was born September 12, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Ron Bialy and Jackie Garrah.

Ron moved to Northern Michigan back in the early 80s, where he loved to be out in nature, whether fishing, gardening, running, sunbathing, swimming, or taking his beloved "son," Sparty, for a walk.  He loved to cook and was quite the chef.  He loved music and could sing and play the guitar, also playing in bands growing up.

Ron is survived by: his daughters, Diedra Finney and Christine Skiles; granddaughter, Ayspen Tarker; father, Ron Bialy; mother, Jackie Garrah; brother, Bernard "Bernie" Garrah; and girlfriend, Sue Young.

Ron was preceded in death by: his grandparents; and wife, Judy Bialy.

Cremation has taken place, and no formal funeral ceremony will be held at Ron's request.  Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life and toast from 2-6 PM, Friday, August 13, at his neighborhood bar, the Sail Inn Bar & Grill, 1104 Barlow Street, Traverse City.
