Mr. Ronald Lee Longcore, age 76, of Hart, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He was born March 28, 1939, in Muskegon to Milton and Bernardine (Till) Longcore. He graduated from Hart High School with the class of 1957. He married Karen Spencer on January 28, 1957 in Hart; they were married for fifty-eight years. Ron served his country in the United States Army Reserves and farmed his entire life. He loved the outdoors and was a patriotic person, loving his country.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Karen Longcore of Hart; two sons, Tim (Tammy) Longcore of Mears, Milton (Rita) Longcore of Hart; four grandchildren, Rachel (Stas) Lopushansky of Granite Falls, NC, Elizabeth Longcore of Hart, Jacob Longcore of Mears, Garrett Longcore of Hart; one great-grandchild, Andrew Lopushansky of Granite Falls, NC; and one sister, Patricia White of Muskegon. He is preceded in death by his parents, and aunt, Pauline Till.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 3 – 5 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2852 N. 72nd Ave., Hart MI 49420. Interment will be in Mears Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Crystal Valley Care Fund, P.O. Box 451, Hart, MI 49420.
