Ronald Charles Ploskunak, 70, of Muskegon, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021.  He was born December 12, 1950, in Avonmore, Pennsylvania, to John and Marcella (Sontag) Ploskunak.

Ron left the small town of Avonmore right after high school for the big city of Chicago.  His passion was taking his sailboat out on Lake Michigan with clients and friends.  He then moved to Muskegon.

He loved to work with his hands, and was the "go to guy" for furniture repair and finishing.  He also did not mind getting his hands dirty fixing a snow blower, lawn mower or garden tractor, and even managed to refurbish the occasional automobile or pick-up.  His craftsmanship and smile will surely be missed.

Ron is survived by: his siblings, James (Joanne) Ploskunak of Charlo, Montana; Suzanne (Stanley) Townsend of Avonmore, Pennsylvania; Robert (Mary Lou) Ploskunak of Murrysville, Pennsylvania; Brian Ploskunak of Boca Raton, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marcella Ploskunak of Avonmore, Pennsylvania.

Due to recent health concerns, a graveside service will be conducted in the spring, at Oakhurst Cemetery, in Whitehall, Michigan.
