Mr. Ronald Jack Syers, age 62 of Socorro, NM, died Saturday, October 4, 2008. He was born August 13, 1946 in Munising, MI to Verne E. and Shirley (Mills) Syers. Ronald served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1967 and was currently employed at Northrup Grumman. He owned and operated the AAA Storage in San Antonio, NM. Ronald was the kind of person that always was there with a helping hand for anyone that needed it. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Flint Burley. He is survived by two sons; a daughter; four grandchildren; many cousins that loved him dearly; and many friends and co-workers. The Funeral Service for Mr. Syers was held Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Rev. Ben B. Lester officiating. Visitation was Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
