Mr. Ronald C. Wendt, age 66 of Hart, died Sunday, November 22, 2009. He was born May 23, 1943 in Midland, Michigan to Charles and Dorothy (Dice) Wendt. On January 25, 1966, in Midland, MI he married Carla deBres. Mr. Wendt was the former owner of Wolverine Asphalt. His interests included hunting, fishing, playing the steel guitar and traveling to Nashville, TN and Traverse City. He is survived by his wife Carla Wendt of Hart; children, Ronda (Adam) Schultz of Shelby, Gary (Tammy) Wendt of Hart; four grandchildren, Kourtney, Kyle, Aarron and Casey; sister, Mert (Don) Russell of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Ray and Sonny Wendt, Betty Wendt, Viola Feaster, Anne Maidens and Barb Hepinstall. The Memorial Service for Mr. Wendt will be held Friday, November 27, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor David E. Gray officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
