Obituary

Rosaline Mae Schuster, of Kingsley, died on Sunday, March 7, 2021; she was 97 years old.

She was born Rosaline Hall in Grant Township on February 17, 1924 to Lewis and Hazel (Hoyt) Hall.  In October of 1947, Rosaline married Ralph Schuster.

Rosaline was head of housekeeping at the Interlochen Center for the Arts for 30 years.  She was an avid quilter, maintained a beautiful garden and was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Kingsley.

She is survived by her son, Joseph (Beverly) Schuster of Kingsley; five grandchildren, Ralph, Chris, Neil (Rachel) Haycraft, Todd Schuster and Jody Perkins; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and many other close family members.

Rosaline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph, her brothers, Leslie (Becky), Millard (Mae) Hall and her daughter, Anita Haycraft.

Friends and family may visit beginning at 1 pm on Friday, March 12 at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley.  A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Colleen Wierman of Kingsley United Methodist Church, will begin at 3 pm.

Mrs. Schuster will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley in the spring.
