Ruth Ann Foster, age 84, of Ludington, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Oakview Medical Care Facility in Ludington.  She was born June 26, 1932, in Ludington to George and Bertha (Fuller) Smith.  She was a homemaker and a lifetime Ludington resident. Ruth was employed for a short time at Stokely's and Ludington Plastics. Ruth loved to attend church. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and had also attended the Salvation Army Church and Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Ruth also attended many of the churches summer camps as well. She very much loved taking care of her grandchildren and playing Bingo.

Ruth is survived by two sons: Mark Foster and Jack Foster; two sisters: Joyce Padron of Ludington and Carol Laude of Muskegon; she also has three grandchildren, Christina Foster, Jack Foster Jr., Shawn Foster.  Four great grandchildren, Kayla Foster, Damion Foster, Brandon Foster, Cody Agar; special niece, Janet Oquist of Ludington; also several other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Marsha Zavala on Nov. 20, 2016, son, Jerry Foster on Dec. 23, 2010 and  grandson, Scott Agar. She was also preceded by her eleven siblings.

The Funeral Service for Ruth Foster will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at 11:00 am at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Ludington with Pastor Ryan White officiating.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  The family requests that any memorials be directed to the family.
