Ryan Scott Prudhomme, 27, of New Era, husband of Kendra, went into the presence of his Savior on April 8, 2013 after a brave and inspiring battle with cancer. He was born February 21, 1986 in Reed City, MI to Steve and Cathey Prudhomme. Ryan graduated from Hart High School in 2004 and obtained degrees from Cornerstone University and Michigan State University. He married the former Kendra Klotz on May 13, 2006. His passions were for the Lord, horses, helping people, and Christian camping. He worked for Grace Adventures as their Marketing Director. He was also a member and former deacon at First Baptist Church of Hart. Ryan will be remembered as a brave, selfless, kind person that loved the Lord with all of his heart, mind, soul, and strength.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Kendra; their beloved son, Colton; his parents, Steve and Cathey; his brothers, Jeremy (Megan) and Corey (Rachel Hodges); his in-laws, Ken and Janet Klotz; his brothers-in-law, Chris and Ryan Klotz; his grandparents, Kermit and Jean Hainley and Barbara Prudhomme; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rene Prudhomme, and two uncles, David Hainley and David Prudhomme.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Grace Adventures in Mears with Rev. Robert Tissot officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, April 12, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Grace Adventures. A private burial will take place in Hersey, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Ryan's medical expenses or to Colton's college education can be made at any Shelby State Bank branch, 242 N. Michigan Ave, Shelby, MI 49455.
