Mrs. Sally Marie Hartung, age 70, of Ludington, MI passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014. She was born February 16, 1944, in Mason County, MI, to John and Florence (Bourgette) Reinberg. She graduated from Ludington High School in 1962 and also graduated from Beauty School. Sally married Robert Hartung on November 9, 1962, at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Ludington. She was a beautician and owned and operated the Hillcrest Beauty Salon for many years. Sally was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Free Church and was a very faithful and spiritual person and helped at Sunday school with the children. She was the longest member of the Ludington MS support group. Sally enjoyed Ludington State Park, campfires, roasting hotdogs, nature, herb and flower gardening, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Hartung is survived by her husband, Robert Hartung of Ludington; one daughter, Deb (Carl) Olson of Ludington, MI and one son, David (Pamela) Hartung of Belmont, MI; brother, John (Carolyn) Reinberg of Grand Rapids, MI; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Caleb, Enoch, Abigail, Esther, Ellen, Hannah, Carl, Bethany, great-granddaughter, Jewell; and brother-in-law, Joe Gorzynski of Ludington, MI. Sally was preceded in death by her daughter Druscilla Hartung who passed away on January 4, 1993, her parents and sister, Dottie Sue Gorzynski.

The Memorial Service for Mrs. Hartung will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Ludington with Pastor Gary Ridley officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior the service at the church.
