Obituary
Mr. Samuel S. Smuk, age 93, of Mears, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013. He was born March 24, 1919, in Salva, Alberta, Canada to Anthony and Anna (Klaczynska) Smuk. On November 9, 1946, he married the former Katherine Majewski in Detroit, Michigan, who preceded him in death on September 8, 2012. He was employed in hydraulic systems at Vickers.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In his spare time, Samuel liked to fish and make birdhouses.
Samuel is survived by 2 Great nieces and 1 Great nephew.
In accordance with Mr. Smuk's wishes, there are no services planned.
