October 14, 1961 – April 28, 2025
Scott David Alexander, 63, passed away April 28, 2025, in Ludington, Michigan. He was born October 14, 1961, in Midland, MI, the oldest of three sons of Robert W. Alexander and Valerie Nollar Greiner. Scott graduated from Ludington High School in 1980 and later received Heavy Equipment Operator Certification from Superior Training Services in Franklin, Indiana. In 1988, Scott married Kimberly Rotta and together they had two children, Michael and Morgan.
Scott had a long career at Dow Chemical, later Occidental Chemical, from 1989 through 2017, where he worked as a field operator, pipefitter, and industrial carpenter. He could always be found working in his garage workshop or the yard, fixing anything and everything while constantly listening to music. He liked to pick up new hobbies such as biking, shooting sports, and off-roading in his Jeep. When the kids were younger he was proud to make model cars, coach their little league teams, and attend every band concert and sporting event. Scott loved camping, spending time at the beach, and traveling with the family.
Scott is survived by his son, Michael Alexander, and daughter, Morgan (Taylor) Jarman; grandchildren, Margaret and Lewyn Jarman; mother of their children, Kimberly Alexander; brother, Mark (Anita) Alexander, and nieces, Jordyn (Christian) Hennells and Karsyn Alexander.
