It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Shawn Marie Killey, 69, of Mesick, MI, on February 2, 2025.

She was born in Dearborn, MI, on October 19,1955, she was the daughter of Donald and Vivian Gibbons. Shawn was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She had 2 brothers, James Gibbons and John Gibbons, and 2 sisters, Cheryl Bird and Debra Forrester.

She is survived by her brother, James Gibbons, and her sister, Cheryl Bird, 5 sons, Scott (Anna) Loveland, Terry (Rebecca) Loveland, Jason (Cari) Loveland, Andy (Kimberly) Loveland, Jesse (Katherine) Harris.

The babies were the Joy of her life!

She had 19 Grandkids: Michael (Haylee) Loveland, Stephanie (Austin) Cox, Lydia Loveland, Violet (Brandyn) Powell, Megan Loveland, Ryan Loveland, Elizabeth Loveland, Theresa (Blake) Cannon, Carter Loveland, Taylor (Dustin) Blaisdell, Adeline Harris, Ethan Harris, Landen Spink, Corbin Harris and 11 Great Grandkids, Payton Loveland, Wesley Loveland, Cole Callewaert, Sylas Cox, Asher McKitrick, Noelle Cox, Saria Parson, Prudence Powell, Thalia Cannon, Bentley Blaisdell, Braelynn Blaisdell and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vivian Gibbons, husband Terry Killey, brother John Gibbons, and sister Debra Forrester.

The highlight of her life was her kids and grandbabies. She loved having family gatherings to enjoy having everyone together at once. She will be greatly missed.

We will have a private service at a later date.
