Shelley Lynn Widdis Kocher, 64, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ludington, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, in Grand Rapids. She was born August 18, 1958, in Ludington.

Shelley is survived by: her son, Charles Ellwood; her mother, Mary Simmon; her sisters, Marcia (Dale) Bonnville, and Dr. Cheryl (Dr. Robert Jarvis II) Widdis; her brothers, James (Kristi) Widdis Jr., and Alex (Maureen) Simmon; and several nieces and nephews.

Shelley was preceded in death by: her father, James Richard Widdis Sr.; her son, Tyler Ellwood; and her brother, William Widdis.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Shelley's life will be held this summer.

Memorial contributions may be made to a children's service organization of one's choice.
