Ms. Shirley Ann Giese, age 60, of Rothbury, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. She was born September 7, 1955, in Hart to Gene and JoAnn (Trommater) Giese. She graduated from Hart High School with the Class of 1973 and went on to attend college. Shirley was employed as a home health aide and was dedicated to helping others more than herself. Her life was her grandsons, whom she adored and loved.

Shirley is survived by one daughter: Krista Baird of Rothbury; two grandsons, Dylan and Dakota Baird both at home; two brothers, Robert Giese of Mears, and Daniel (Mercedes) Giese of Stanton; sister, Karen (Leonard) Ervin of Muskegon, four nieces, Emily Phromm of Norton Shores, Carla Giese, Anna Giese and Mercedes Whittaker, all of San Diego, CA; two nephews, Chris Borowicz of Muskegon, and Cesar Curet of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Giese will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hart. Interment will be in Mears Cemetery.
