Shirley Ann Letts, 62, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 13, 2017.

She was born in Sturgis, Michigan on May 24, 1955 to Milton and Gladys (Churgo)

Letts. Shirley grew up and attended school in Marshall. She moved around a lot as a

young adult before beginning her nursing career and moving to the Allegan area. In

1997, she moved home to Mason County to be near her family.

Shirley Ann worked at many local medical facilities and was always the favorite nurse

on duty. She was an animal lover and had many spoiled pets in her life. She loved

visiting with her family, going camping, and spending time in the sun. Shirley really

enjoyed traveling, especially on the back of a Harley.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her sister Triena Letts of Wisconsin; her brothers

Daniel (Sofia) Letts of Texas, and Albert (Lisa) Letts of Allegan; her niece Maggie (Mike)

Locke of Scottville; her special friend Chuck Griffith (and his parents) of Custer; 12

nieces and nephews; 2 great nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles. Shirley

was preceded in death by both of her parents, her grandparents Albert (Pauline) Letts,

and her sister Penny Letts.

No services are planned at this time.
