Shirley (Kokx) (Littiebrant) Mahynski, 92, of Ludington, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, February 5th, 2022. Born on Feb. 23, 1930, she was the oldest child of Harold and Lillian (Greiner) Kokx, of Hart.

Shirley worked as a seamstress in Hart for over 30+ years. She enjoyed sewing for people and seeing her many regular customers. She also enjoyed traveling between Michigan and Florida, playing bingo, fishing and gardening.

Shirley is survived by her five children: Marsha (Frank) Davis, Mark (Mary) Littiebrant, Mona (Bud) Johnson, Marla Kerutis and Michael (Marilyn) Littiebrant and three step-children: David (Marsha) Mahynski, Daniel (Kathy Fahlsing) Mahynski and Douglas Mahynski (Kathy Espinosa).

Shirley was blessed with 13 grandchildren: Shona, Autumn, Kam, Zak, Carla, Steven, James, Eric, Staci, Jordan, Anna, Kaleb, McKenna, several great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Marland (Mid) Littiebrant and Greg Mahynski; one young daughter, Karon; and three siblings; Max Kokx, Donna Gourley and Mildred Callaci.

The family wishes to give a very special thank you to the Oakview Medical Care Facility staff and to Harbor Hospice.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Oakview Medical Care Facility or Harbor Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday July 29, 2022, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72 ^nd Avenue, Hart. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
