Steven Michael Hoard, age 65 of Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully July 21 ^st , 2019.

Steve was born February 3 ^rd , 1954 in Edmore, MI, the fifth of seven children of Paul and Ruth (Flower) Hoard. He graduated from Fulton High School. Steve married Kathleen A. Makley on February 11, 1978 in Lansing, MI. He worked for Motor Wheel, The City of Lansing, and Lansing Waste Water before retiring in 2012. Steve volunteered as a first responder for several years, while also working home football games for the Bellevue Bronco's for over 20 years. He was a fanatical Michigan Wolverines fan, an avid Harley-Davidson rider, and loved spending time with his family. Steve loved meeting new people, and was blessed with a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Danielle (Ryan), son Brandon (April), grandchildren Cole, Braylen, Adelyn, siblings John (Tracy) Hoard, Ruth Ann Rochon, Scott (Tammie) Hoard, Kevin (Sherri) Hoard, sister-in-law Diane Hoard, and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Oscar "Stub" Paul Hoard, an infant sister Cheryl Hoard, and brother-in-law George Rochon.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 3 ^rd , 2019 at Life Change Church, 3084 Whitehall Road, Muskegon, MI, 49445. Luncheon and celebration of life to follow. Attendees are STRONGLY encouraged to wear Harley-Davidson or University of Michigan apparel.
