Mr. Steven Lee Lamb, 59, of Pentwater, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018, at Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart.  He was born March 7, 1958, in Hart to Donald and Verna (Daggett) Lamb.

Steve graduated from Pentwater High School in 1977 and he was employed in Maintenance for the Village of Pentwater. He married the former Julie VanDenHeuvel on July 23, 2005.

Steve enjoyed golfing, bowling and taking trips to the casinos. He served his community of Pentwater on the Pentwater Fire department for 30 years and was a member of the Oceana County Sheriff Department Mounted Division and the Dive Team. He was known around Pentwater as the "Mayor". Steve loved hanging out with his friends at Camp Lamb.

Steve is survived by his wife: Julie Lamb; three daughters: Kirsten (Casey) Copus of Roscommon, MI, Nikki (Josh) Adams of Pentwater, and Jennifer Lindgren of Jenison, MI; one son: Mike Peters of Ames, IA; four grandchildren, Aubrie Adams, Grayson Adams, Zayn Shafer, Rhianna Shafer; three brothers: Donald "DJ" Lamb of Pentwater, Charles (Juanita) Lamb of Pentwater, and Kim Lamb of Ludington.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services for Steve will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at 11:00 AM from the First Baptist Church of Pentwater with Pastor Mark Lillie officiating.  Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of services at First Baptist Church of Pentwater, 101 S. Rush St., Pentwater.
