Teresa Jaye Gavrilides, 62, of Ludington, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.  She was born August 7, 1956, in Beckley, West Virginia, the daughter of Jackie Jay and Ellen Stover.

Teresa was employed for several years as a loan manager for the First Bank of Chicago, and later worked at Home Depot in Ludington.  From 1998-2004, Teresa and her husband, Michael, owned and operated the Sand Bar in Ludington.  In her spare time, Teresa loved doing crafts including painting and restoring furniture.  She also enjoyed going fishing, cooking and being outdoors.  Most of all, Teresa loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

On May 12, 1990, in Grand Rapids, Teresa married Michael P. Gavrilides, who survives her.  She is also survived by: her daughters, Karissa Gavrilides of Boise, Idaho, and Alexa Gavrilides of Freesoil; her step-son, Matthew (Heather) Gavrilides of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Luke, Cole, Kiersten, Arianne, Oliver and one on the way; her sisters, Deanna (Gordon) Dillingham of Grand Rapids, and Roxanna Schlick of Naperville, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by: her parents; and her brother, Jack Stover.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
