Terry Lee Payne, 71, of Bitely, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. He was born February 15, 1951, the son of Thomas and Florence (Firth) Payne.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed playing the guitar.

Terry is survived by: daughter, Chancy Payne; step-daughters, Roxanne (Randy) Payne and Karen (Jeff) Ford; grandchildren, Emily Gleason, Kenneth Gleason, Erin (Brian) Barnett, Jacob Casanova-Gleason, Autumn Trevino, Misty Payne, Matt (Myranda) Payne, Zach Payne; great-grandkids, Aaydonne Gleason, Sirius Gleason, Romulus Gleason, Lilian Payne, Robert Payne, Godric Payne, Summer Williams, and Carter Payne; sisters, Orchid (Bruce) Franklin, Willow Payne, Dawn (Mark) Frialek, and Violet (Jake) Parsons; brother, Terryal Payne; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by: wife, Leona Payne; his parents; brothers, Virgil Payne, Tim Payne, William Payne, Robert Payne, Richerd Payne, Thomas Payne, and Willard Payne; and sisters, Arbutis Stanfield and Cheryl Jane Payne.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Walkerville Wesleyan Church, 144 176 ^th Avenue, Walkerville, MI 49459. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
