Terry Lynn Wood, 64, of Rothbury, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. He was born July 18, 1957, in Muskegon, the son of James and Iris (Peters) Wood.

Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing, bonfires, and listening to Tom Petty. He liked to drink, smoke, and have a good time with his family and friends.

Terry is survived by: his children, Jessa (Cody Herson) Welch, Kirsten (Matt Sutton Sr.) Wood, and Amanda (David) Lawrence, and their mother, Sandra Wood; grandchildren, Braiden Welch, Brailee Welch, Matthew Sutton Jr., Alexander Wood, Josaline Sutton, Draven McCarthy, Dakota McCarthy, and Austin McCarthy; siblings, Linda Christensen, Leroy II (Teresa) Girard, and Larry Girard; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Ronald McCollum Sr. and Edward McCollum; and nephew, Gabriel Gonzalez.

In accordance with Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
