Mr. Theodore Floyd King, Sr., age 83, of Hart, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012. He was born February 16, 1928, in Hart, to Ralph and Mary (Souser) King. He served in the Army as a nurse. Ted was employed as a mechanic at Stokely and worked at both the Hart and Scottville plants. He married the former Vervina Pulsipher and she preceded him in death.

Ted is survived by one daughter, Lorann (Leon) Griffes of Pentwater, and two sons, Charles Edward (Rebecca) King and Johnny (Patricia) King, both of Hart. He also has fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A sister-in-law, Marie King of Fremont, also survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; two sons, Theodore King, Jr. and James King; two sisters, Geraldine McCullough and Ruthie Hopkins; and his brother, Ralph King.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
