Mrs. Theresa F. Aerts, age 95 of Hart, died Thursday, January 21, 2010. She was born April 12, 1914 in Weare Township to Joseph and Frances (Kraus) Greiner. She married Frank Aerts on May 14, 1941 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Weare. He preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Aerts was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was a very loving and caring homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many will remember her home made pies and cookies. She was always prepared for drop in company. She will be remembered by her 2 sons, Allen (Joanne) Aerts and Ralph (Paula) Aerts, both of Hart; 4 daughters, Regina (Jack) Tate of Hart, Charlene (Jerry) Daggett, Marilyn (Bill) Polsen and Marsha (Bob) Polsen, all of Pentwater. She was grandmother to 11 including Tim Tate, Gary Tate, Shelly Gregwer, Bryan Aerts, Jason Aerts, Chad Aerts, Stephanie Oczepek, Deb McCombs, Brent Daggett, Wendy Kenney and Mark Polsen. She was also great grandmother to 17 children. Also surviving are her sisters, Bernadette Dennert, Eleanore Lydens and Virginia Dennert; sister in law, LaVerle Greiner; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 bothers, Francis Greiner, Michael Greiner and Harold Greiner; 3 sisters, Mamie Kokx, Lillian Kokx and Cecilia Kokx. The Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Aerts will be offered Monday, January 25, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from St. Joseph Catholic Church-Weare with Fr. Thomas Schiller presiding. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 and 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 P.M. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the Oceana County Medical Care Facility Margaret D. Fuehring Alzheimer's Unit.
