Mrs. Theresa M. (Aerts) Greiner, age 104, died Saturday, December 9, 2006. She was born in Hart on October 12, 1902 to Louis and Cornelia (Vanagtmeal) Aerts and had been a lifetime resident. On June 16, 1925, she married Evo J. Greiner at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a lifetime member and a member of the Altar Society. Mrs. Greiner attended St. Joseph Catholic School for her education. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith and to the Rosary. Her interests included sewing, crotchet, and was a great cook, who enjoyed every holiday. But most of all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, who was always there for her family. Mrs. Greiner is survived by her children, Marian Dillingham of Hart, Maxine (Bob) Blankenship of Hart, Sebastian (Betty) Greiner of Hart, Eugene (Jeannette) Greiner of Hart, and Diana Greiner of New Era; 27 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; 1 sister, Betty Weiber of Scottville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Evo J. Greiner in 1975, 2 sons, Ronald F. Greiner in 1976 and Marland E. Greiner in 2003, 2 sons in law, William Dillingham and Robert Schultz, 4 brothers, Edward Aerts, John Aerts, and twin brothers, Jeff and Frank Aerts, 5 sisters, Barbara Somers, Josephine Huizenga, Kathleen Gregg, Louise Cavenaugh and Jeannette Sikkenga. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Joseph Catholic Church-Weare, with Fr. Anton Tran presiding. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 P.M. and also Thursday, one hour prior to Mass at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
