Mrs. Theresa Joananna Tate, age 90, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was born December 14, 1922, in Crystal Township to Francis and Mary (Peternella) Pauwels. She was a sales clerk and was employed at New Era Canning Company. She married Wayne R. Tate on October 10, 1989, in Hart and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2010. Theresa enjoyed cooking, gardening, and activities at St. Gregory Catholic Church, where she was a member. Theresa is survived by her nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, John and Frances "Frank" Pauwels.

The Memorial Service for Mrs. Tate will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.at King Funeral Home with Father Thomas Bolster officiating. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
