Pastor Thomas Victor Boehne, 67, of Ludington, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. He was born December 12, 1950, in Itasca, Illinois, the son of Victor and Ruth (Buck) Boehne.

Thomas was the pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Ludington, for the past 18 years, prior to that, he was the pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Oscoda, Michigan as well as the former pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fraser, Michigan. Tom dedicated his life to spreading Gods word and serving his congregation which he held so sacredly.

Tom was a true blessing from God. He was a great man, a great husband, a great father, and a great friend. His honest virtues, loving and caring nature, and ability to see good in all were traits that will forever be cherished. He was always there for those who needed him with his wit and humor leaving people smiling. Tom enjoyed reading about history, watching westerns, playing Euchre, and playing golf but it was his passion for helping others and giving all he could to his family and church that defined him. He will forever be missed.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Tina who was his rock, always there beside him; his children he adored; his grandchildren, his sister and brother; and his congregation.

Thomas was preceded in death by: his parents; and his brother, Bob.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 29, 2018, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ludington, 209 N. Rowe St. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church. Luncheon immediately following service.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
