Thomas J. Clous, age 50, of Fife Lake, passed from this earth to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  He was born November 5, 1972, in Traverse City, the son of August and Beverly Clous.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, especially at the annual Labor Day weekend camping trips.  He loved playing card and board games.  Tom was an excellent bowler and was particularly proud of his many 300 and 299 games.  Tom was involved in Christian ministries and went on a missionary trip to Guatemala.  He had a good sense of humor and a welcoming smile.  He had lifelong health struggles but awed us with his perseverance and positive attitude.

Tom is survived by: his mother, Beverly Clous (Kroetsch); brothers, James Clous and wife Julie Clous, Alan Clous and fiancé Pam Overstreet; sister, Jean Konecki and fiancé Jeff Johnson; nieces and nephews, Michelle (David) Robinson, Joshua Konecki, Bethany (Ryan) Steffes, Justin Konecki, Curtis Clous, Eric Clous and fiancé Jessica John, Jolene Clous, Stacey Clous and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.

He was preceded in death by: his father, August Clous; brother, Paul Clous; paternal grandparents, Frank and Hedwig Clous; and maternal grandparents Melvin and Edna Kroetsch.

A gathering will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, with hors d'oeuvres & refreshments at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Kingsley Chapel, 200 N. Brownson Avenue, Kingsley, Michigan  49649 (formerly Covell Funeral Home).
